Dr. Zachary Zimmer’s international research team conducting the Vietnamese Health and Aging Study was recently awarded a grant titled, “Early Life War Experiences and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias,” from the National Institutes of Health (NIA) ($316,673 USD).  This grant will open a new line of inquiry in their ongoing investigation of the long-term impacts of wartime trauma on health and aging.
