Clove Haviva recently completed her two-year postdoctoral scholar appointment with the Global Aging Community Initiative (GACI) where she worked on the Templeton Foundation funded project related to religiosity and health expectancy. Dr. Haviva remains affiliated with the GACI. In her time at GACI, she wrote a paper that summarized the research thus far completed as part of the Templeton funded project. (https://globalagingandcommunity.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/projectoverview.pdf). She was involved in a number of analyses on religiosity and health and, among other things, presented papers and posters on the influence of religiosity on health of optimism and other psychosocial strengths. Dr. Haviva was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University. We wish Dr. Haviva good luck in her continued pursuits and look forward to our further collaborations.
