Today marks 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War. A recent article in Asia Times by Dr. Tran Khanh Toan, Hanoi Medical University and affiliate of the Global Aging and Community Initiative, touches on the long-term impacts of the war from a personal level. The article also highlights ongoing research conducted as part of Vietnam Health and Aging Study (VHAS), an international project led by Drs. Zachary Zimmer of Mount Saint Vincent University, his close collaborator, Dr. Kim Korinek of the University of Utah, and an international team of scholars, including Dr. Toan. VHAS research is funded by both the National Institute on Aging in the U.S. and the Canadian Institute of Health Research. https://shorturl.at/Qh4Vm
