Brittney Roughan is the Program Manager for the Global Aging and Community Initiative at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU). She holds a MSc in Environmental Science from St. Francis Xavier University and a BSc in Environmental Science from McGill University. Before she joined the MSVU team in August 2016, Brittney worked as a Program Coordinator for Summerhill, an energy efficiency delivery agent in the city of Halifax. Prior to obtaining her Master’s, she worked with the Our HRM Alliance at the Ecology Action Centre as a campaign assistant. In her free time, Brittney enjoys exploring Nova Scotia through various outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, disc golfing and fly fishing, participating in recreational sports through the Halifax Sport and Social Club, cooking, gardening, traveling both locally and internationally, and is an active member of the MSVU Aikikai.
